TEST SCORES
Iowa Assessment tests are nationally standardized, norm-referenced tests. These are a service to schools by the College of Education of the University of Iowa. This is done annually to ensure your child is receiving the highest quality education. Students are tested in reading, language arts, math, social studies, and science.
IA tests are administered in October to students in the 3rd through 8th grade. Test scores are compared to others across the nation, and many students score exceptionally high in reading and language. Across all areas, our students score on level with or higher than those at other schools, both private and public, that take the test nationally. Our scores show that the longer a student is with our school, the more the test scores improve. Our 8th grade students, on average, tested at 10th grade reading level.
